Most people visit the park from June through August, but did you know the park is open year-round? Our favorite time to go to Glacier National Park is in September. The crowds are gone and driving the iconic Going To The Sun Road is spectacular with all of the brilliant fall colors. The hiking trails are not crowded in the fall and you really feel like you have the place to yourself. During the winter months, x-country skiers and snowshoers take over the road and go as far as their hearts desire. As spring rolls and the plow crews clear Going To The Sun Road of snow, bicyclists can make their way up to Logan Pass without the worry of automobile traffic.
Ride into the hills overlooking Flathead Valley!
